Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about old CNC machine parts, custom machining, shipping, and technical support

General Questions

What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

Our MOQ is just 1 piece. We specialize in small batch manufacturing and custom machining for old CNC machines, so you can order exactly what you need. Whether you need a single spindle bearing or a complete set of ball screws, we can help.

Which machine brands do you support?

We specialize in both Chinese brands (SMTCL, DMTG, Baoji, Qinchuan, Beijing First, Jinan First, etc.) and international brands (Mori Seiki, Mazak, Okuma, Hardinge, Takisawa, Bridgeport, etc.). We have extensive experience with machines from the 1990-2010 era.

Do you have parts in stock?

We maintain stock of common parts like bearings, seals, and standard fasteners. For machine-specific parts, we typically custom manufacture them based on your drawings or samples. Stock items ship within 3-7 days, while custom parts take 7-15 days.

Ordering & Pricing

How long does it take to get a quote?

We typically respond within 24-48 hours with an initial quote. For complex parts requiring engineering analysis, it may take up to 72 hours. To speed up the process, please provide: machine model, part name/number, drawings (if available), quantity needed, and any special requirements.

What information do I need to provide for a quote?

For the best quote accuracy, please provide: 1) Machine brand and model, 2) Part name or part number, 3) Technical drawings (PDF/DWG/DXF) or clear photos, 4) Material requirements (if any), 5) Precision requirements, 6) Quantity needed. The more details you provide, the faster and more accurate our quote will be.

Can I get a discount for bulk orders?

Yes, we offer volume discounts for orders of 10+ pieces. The discount varies depending on the part complexity and total order value. Please contact us with your requirements for a custom bulk pricing quote.

Technical Specifications

What precision grades can you achieve?

We can achieve precision grades from ±0.005mm to ±0.05mm depending on the part type. For ball screws, we offer C3-C7 grades. For bearings, we work with P0-P5 precision classes. For critical applications, we can provide CMM inspection reports.

What materials do you work with?

We work with a wide range of materials including: Steel (carbon steel, alloy steel, tool steel), Stainless Steel (304, 316, 420), Cast Iron (HT200, HT250, HT300), Aluminum Alloys (6061, 7075), Brass and Bronze, Engineering Plastics (PEEK, POM, Nylon). We can also source special materials upon request.

Can you reverse engineer parts without drawings?

Yes! We offer reverse engineering services. You can send us the worn part or detailed photos with measurements, and our engineers will recreate the technical drawings. We use CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) for accurate reverse engineering. This service is included in the quote at no extra charge for most parts.

Do you provide quality inspection reports?

Yes, all parts undergo 100% inspection before shipping. We provide standard inspection reports for free. For critical parts, we can provide CMM inspection reports, material certificates, and hardness test reports for an additional fee.

Shipping & Delivery

Which countries do you ship to?

We ship worldwide! We have extensive experience shipping to USA, Canada, Europe, Southeast Asia, Middle East, Australia, and South America. We work with reliable couriers like DHL, FedEx, UPS, and can also arrange sea freight for bulk orders.

How long is the delivery time?

Delivery time consists of: Manufacturing time (3-15 days depending on complexity) + Shipping time (3-7 days by express courier, or 20-40 days by sea freight). We always provide estimated delivery dates with our quotes. Rush orders can be accommodated for an additional fee.

Who pays for shipping costs?

Shipping costs are typically paid by the customer and added to the invoice. We provide exact shipping quotes before you confirm the order. For large orders, we can negotiate shipping terms. We always choose the most cost-effective shipping method unless you specify otherwise.

What if the part doesn't fit my machine?

We stand behind our work! If a part doesn't fit due to our manufacturing error, we will remake it at no charge. This is why we always request detailed drawings and specifications upfront. For custom parts, we can ship a sample first for test fitting before producing the full quantity (sample cost applies).
